Sparkler R

Sparkler R has four white socks and a little star in the middle of his forehead. He is out of a young mare called Dreaming R. Dreaming R is by Drumming R (De Niro x Totilas). Dreaming R is out of a mare called Jamie R (Jive Magic x Regardez Moi). Jamie R is the mother of Rochelle King Andrew’s Challenger Florencia R. This mare is winning Prix St George level tests with Rochelle and actually won at Sydney Dressage with over 70%. Jamie R is also the mother of Fireworks R who is schooling Grand Prix and has just been sold to a young rider who is just back from overseas. Jamie R is also the dam of Fame R which is a stallion standing in Victoria. Firebird R which is schooling most of the Grand Prix work with Ann-Maree Lourey in the saddle. So, the bloodlines on Sparkler R on the dam line are magnificent.

On the sire’s side, Sezuan’s Donnerhall is a young stallion in Germany who Christoff Hess described as being the most talented young dressage horse in Germany. Sezuan’s Donnerhall is so spectacular and we think will become a legend in his own time. Sparkler R does have the most magnificent conformation. He would make a Sydney Royal hack. He was born on the 30^th November 2022. At this stage, we think he moves to bring the house down. He is definitely beautiful enough to be kept as a stallion. Interestingly, Heath talked to Alexis Hellyer at Willinga Park and she was saying that she was more and more interested in the De Niro blood. De Niro being the sire of her young horse, Danerys who won the CDN Intermediate 2 at Willinga Park Dressage by the Sea 2023. Elliot Patterson has just recently won the Grand Prix at Tamworth on Del Pierro ZF who is also a young De Niro horse. Alexis said that the De Niro’s are really quiet, really rideable and all of them piaffe and passage. Tiani who runs the stud for at Ryans has commented how quiet Sparkler R is and what a nice person he is and for her, he is her favourite. De Niro appears in Sparkler R’s pedigree through Dreaming R who is the mother of Sparkler R. We think that Sparkler R is really special and perhaps the best foal of the season!
