Twilight R

Twilight R is an exquisite filly foal who is an outstanding character in the paddock. She is particularly confident and will seek out other foals on the other side of the paddock to play with and leave her mum for longish periods of time. This is more than a little unusual for a filly of this age. When people are in the paddock with this group of mares and foals Twilight R is very noticeable because she is so curious and brave and does want to inspect everyone. She is quite the character. Twilight R has spectacular movement and is also a very refined and elegant individual. Twilight R as well as being very pretty, she has very correct conformation and does look like a baby ballerina.

The sire of Twilight R is BML Totality. BML Totality is right this moment in competition work and has recently commenced competing at Prix St George and Intermediate 1 level dressage. BML Totality has also started schooling very baby piaffe steps and is proving to find this collected work very easy. BML Totality is by Totilas which is probably the greatest dressage horse the world has ever seen. We think that it is possible that BML Totality is the most talented dressage horse we have ever had and we do have Olympic aspirations for him.

Twilight R is out of the mare, Milchomi. This is a beautifully bred eventing thoroughbred mare. The stand out characteristic of Milchomi is that when she was broken in she immediately produced breathtaking passage. Of course this is not something we encourage whilst we were breaking her in but she was clearly super talented in it. Milchomi looked like she was going to be a megastar eventer and we did have thoughts of her being a medal contender in the eventing discipline on an Australian team. Milchomi did attract enormous attention from the top Australian riders and we received a very sizeable offer for her and sold her. Milchomi then had an accident in competition with her new owners which ended her competition career. Very tragic indeed. We then went out of our way to purchase her back again. We are not disappointed that we did this and we already have a filly from Milchomi which we are keeping. We have a lot of confidence in Milchomi as a broodmare that will influence Australian history. Milchomi is by the stallion, Brilliant Invader who is also the sire of Ready Teddy who was ridden by Blythe Tait and this combination won the individual Gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and also won the individual and team Gold Medals at the 1998 Rome World Equestrian Games. Ready Teddy was one of the greatest eventers the world has ever seen.

So Twilight R comes from genetic families on both her sire’s side and her dam’s side which represent the best there has ever been. We are very proud of Twilight R and are hoping that she will find someone special with dreams that will reach around the world.
